The world-building game Creativerse is getting a new update called Blueprint Revolution. This will make building new objects even easier, especially for those who are a bit creatively challenged.
The update, which is available to download now, will give players the tools to easily share their creations with others. It will also make finding new creations in Steam Workshop much easier. Thanks to a new tagging system, finding the objects you want to build will be simple and streamlined. Once you decide on an object, simply download the blueprint and follow the step-by-step instructions. You’ll have whatever you’re looking for up and running in no time.
To see how the feature works in action, the Creativerse team has uploaded a video to the game’s official Facebook page. To capture an object you created, it looks like all you have to do is drag a box around your screen until everything you want saved is inside it. Once done, the object will export into a blueprint for you to share with the world.
“This update opens up the game in a way that was previously only available to hardcore builders,” said Daniel Havens, the director of Creativerse, in a press statement. “Now, players with intricate, masterful builds can easily share them with everyone, giving all our players access to amazing content from across the world. We’ve seen so many wonderful creations from our players over the years, everything from skyscrapers and castles to sculptures and pixel art, from villages and cities to arenas built for mini-games. We are so excited to finally have a way for everyone to enjoy these creations.”
Creativerse is a massively multiplayer sandbox game, where players have the freedom to design and build whatever they want. Think of it like Minecraft, but with more social features built in. The true strength of Creativerse lies in the Adventures mode, where players are able to make custom games and levels for others to explore. These can range from simple adventures to big puzzles, escape-the-room type situations and so much more.
