Creed: Rise to Glory announced that a physical release is scheduled to arrive to the PlayStation VR on January 17. The game features multiple game modes like a full story-based career, as well as a Training Mode. It even has Freeplay that offers custom matches. This release is going to be in EU territories.
Creed: Rise to Glory is based on the hit film franchise starring Michael B Jordan. Players need to step into the ring as Adonis Creed and challenge both body and mind in a quest to become a world-class fighter and Heavyweight Champion. The game offers an intense cinematic boxing experience that has players go head to head with familiar fighters from the Creed universe. Of course, players also receive lessons from the legendary Rocky Balboa himself.
Creed: Rise to Glory comes with precise upper-body tracking which makes use of Phantom Melee Technology. With this, players get to feel the connection of each uppercut, jab, and flurry through active 1:1 boxing gameplay. This is the third game that has been announced as part of the current partnership between Perp Games and Survios. This collaboration started with the release of Battlewake back on December 6 and then an upcoming PSVR release of The Walking Dead: Onslaught.
Survios CEO Seth Gerson said in a statement that the game is considered to be the most widely distributed VR game through both online stores, North American retail locations, and the Survios worldwide LBE distribution network. He went on to say that by collaborating with Perp Games, they are happy "to introduce Creed: Rise to Glory to new audiences throughout the world to experience truly immersive entertainment."
Meanwhile, Perp Games Managing Director Rob Edwards said that they are happy to be able to work on an incredible game based on a globally recognized franchise. He added that they are "delighted to continue our working relationship with Survios to bring this beloved PSVR game to retail and continue our commitment to working with high-quality games from globally recognized franchises."
Creed: Rise to Glory is a virtual reality boxing video game released in 2018. The game is available with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift for Windows, and Oculus Quest alongside the PSVR for version for PS4.
