The first major update of the year for the battle royale online shooter CRSED: F.O.A.D is now available. The Glitch update brings a new Champion into the fray. It also introduces some really huge changes, including a new lobby where you can choose where you’ll spawn, weapon skins, and a new leveling system. In addition, a new season is underway.
New Champion Joins the Fray
The multi-faced daughter of a fortune teller, Eva Woods, now brings her mastery in the art of pretense and deception to the game. For instance, she can disguise herself as a scarecrow so that she can easily take out those unsuspecting Champions.
Battle Royale Changes
Just minutes before the battle begins, you will be placed inside a special lobby where you can choose your preferred spawn location. You can see the markers of the combatants on the battlefield as well. You can take the time to plan your course of action before you head out.
Before, Champions first needed to accumulate enough souls to use their abilities. Now, the first use of a Champion’s ability is free and is readily available once they join the fight. This major change increased the odds in your favor at the start of the match.
The Glitch update brings weapon skins in the game too. You can get them in the in-game item store or in the customization chests.
New Leveling System
CRSED: F.O.A.D has a new leveling system where each level gained increases your Champion’s skills and characteristics by a certain percentage. For example, Bram becomes faster while aiming down sights, and Erik gets additional bonuses from armor.
