It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 is riddled with technical issues. The game is filled with visual and game-breaking bugs. Developers know that, and that’s why they are already pushing out hotfixes.
Hotfix 1.04 was out a few days ago and it made some well-needed changes. The update addressed several crashing issues and also improved overall game performance. The reflection quality on current-gen consoles now looks cleaner than before.
The patch reduced the vehicle appearance pop-in and fixed the preview system in weapon crafting. The update also brought more than a dozen fixes for quest-related bugs. So now, you should get stuck less often in a mission.
The hotfix also fastened the switching between first-person and third-person modes in vehicles. It reduced the intensity of the flashing effect in braindances too. This should help players who have epilepsy symptoms.
HIGHLIGHTS

- Speeded up switching first person perspective to third person perspective in a vehicle.

- Improved reflections quality on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to eliminate the smudge effect.
- Modified the flashing effect on braindances to reduce the risk of inducing epileptic symptoms. The effect has been smoothed out and the flashes reduced in frequency and magnitude.
- Removed copyrighted songs incorrectly present in the game with "Disable Copyrighted Music" feature toggled on.
- Fixed the preview in weapon crafting.
- Fixed issues with animations missing from important quest NPCs during cinematics.
- Switching language to default in the in-game settings now correctly sets it to the language of your Steam client.
