Tickets for the second weekend of Desert Trip, the music festival colloquially known as Oldchella, have just gone on sale. The festival will take place at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over the course of two weekends, Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16, and is organized by the same production company as Coachella.
The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will play Friday night, while Paul McCartney and Neil Young (and the Promise Of The Real) will be playing Saturday night. Roger Waters and The Who will be wrapping up both weekends by playing on Sunday night.
The sets will start at sunset, so the desert heat won’t be an issue, at least. Tickets, however, are a different matter: Single-day tickets are running for $199 per day, while three-day passes cost $399. Adding in shuttle access will raise those prices to $224 for single-day tickets and $424 for the three-day passes. VIP tickets will cost $898, while standing pit passes will cost $1,599 for three days, reserved floor seats will cost $699-$1,599 for three days and reserved grandstand seats will cost $999-$1,599 for three days.
If you’re wondering what that cash gets you in terms of sitting placement, check out the seating map . Parking thankfully is free, but only for the day. This poses a problem for anyone not lucky enough to have already nabbed a hotel room, as the The Press Enterprise reports that hotels have sold out in the anticipation of the event.
