It is getting dark, and in today’s “This Week at Bungie,” developers said that the Tower is covered in darkness. As the Guardians continue to search for answers, things are really looking problematic right now, so be ready for whatever comes your way.
Dreaming City and Moon Weapons Dropping Soon
The developers announced earlier that some weapons from the Moon and Dreaming City will be reissued with new weapon perks in Destiny 2.
Well, the company is keeping that promise with these weapons dropping in their respective locations starting July 6.
Here are those weapons along with one perk that you can possibly get from the weapons’ perk pool:
- Loud Lullaby (Tunnel Vision)
- One Small Step (Trench Barrel)
- Tranquility (Frenzy)
- Arc Logic (Heating Up)
- Dream Breaker (Cornered)
- Every Waking Moment (Killing Wind)
- Love and Death (Chain Reaction)
- A Fine Memorial (Adrenaline Junkie)
- Night Terror (One for All)
- Tigerspite (Frenzy)
- Twilight Oath (Vorpal Weapon)
- Abide the Return (Thresh)
The Iron Banner Returns
You might be surprised that Lord Saladin is making a comeback next week. “What can we say, that guy loves overseeing territory control,” developers said. So, here's the Iron Banner schedule:
If you are busy next week for some reason, do not worry as Lord Saladin will return one last time before the season ends.
Update on PC Frame Rates
Some Destiny 2 players who use AMD Radeon graphics may have experienced frame rate drops as a result of a problematic driver update. Fortunately, AMD was able to resolve the issue by releasing a new driver.
While updating to the Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.6.1 can fix the problem for some, the issue may still persist for others. The developers are investigating the matter even further and they may come up with a better solution soon.
Bungie Store and Rewards Update
The Bungie Store Beta will launch on July 1. Players can expect a more streamlined experience as the company transitions to a new e-commerce platform.
That said, those who have existing Bungie Store accounts are encouraged to change their passwords once the beta goes live.
In other news, all generated Bungie Rewards Codes for the Descendant Seal, Vault of Glass Art Print, and Splintered Seal will no longer be valid after July 1.
Those who fail to get these rewards would have to use a Bungie Store account linked to Bungie.net to purchase them past July 1. Keep in mind that the linked Bungie.net account must have the necessary Triumphs to gain access to Bungie Rewards items that you want.
Players who are looking for more challenging content should do the Grandmaster Nightfalls starting this week. The weapon that is up for grabs is the Plug One 1.
