A new collaboration between Destiny 2 and Street Fighter 6 is coming soon. It will bring Capcom's characters to the world of Bungie's shooter.

The new update will be introducing three characters from the Street Fighter franchise. They will be available as cosmetics that players can use in Destiny 2. These characters are Ruy, Chun-Li, and Cammy, who will come as a series of emotes, finishers, and Ghost shells.

Destiny 2 x Street Fighter 6 Collaboration

The cosmetics will become available on Nov. 19, 2024, and are expected to be purchasable using real-world money. The Ghost Shells in Destiny 2 have been completely modified in order to look like the Street Fighter character that they were inspired by.

One of the cosmetics features Ryu's headband and garments being worn by one Ghost Shell.

Another one can be seen rocking Cammy's classic red hat and has her blonde ponytail hairstyle. The last one is a Ghost Shell with Chun-Li's ox horn hairstyle and blue outfit.

The tweet that revealed the collaboration between the two games also teased that there is more content that will be coming with the update. This suggests that more Street Fighter 6-inspired skins could be coming to Destiny 2, according to Push Square.

Other content coming with the next update is a reprised version of the Prison Of Elders activity. This has now been made into more of a roguelike activity. There is also a new mechanic that will allow dialed-in firearms to skip some sections.

The tradeoff for this is that you will encounter even more challenging enemies. On the other hand, teams that are having a difficult time will experience a longer event but will face off against easier enemies.

Various New Content

The new mode is known as Tomb of the Elders and looks promising for what it features. Bungie has swapped out the enemy races from its predecessor and changed them to some new ones; Shadow Legion Cabal, Revenant Scorn, Lucent Hive, and The Dread, PCGamer said.

The announcement stream also showed the next episode artifact that will be coming to Destiny 2 as well as the tiers of buffs that it will grant.

There were also previews for two new fusion rifles and the developer talked about mechanical changes. The latter includes a buff to roaming super recharge times in PvE.

In particular, the Tomb of Elders tasks players with clearing enemies and objectives and trying to maintain a warden's favor rating. This is all while navigating increased difficulty, according to MassivelyOP.
