Diablo 3 announced that Season 22 is set to be released on November 20. Titled as “Shades of the Nephalem,” this new Diablo 3 season is set to add new items and make a lot of Legendary item changes.
One thing that players can look forward to is that for Season 22, when activating a Shrine or Pylon, it’s going to spawn a shadow clone of the player’s class. The clone’s power scales with the character and lasts for either one minute or until death. Kanai’s Cube, meanwhile, is going to offer a fourth slot for this new season. While players have the option to choose any power, it won’t stack with the powers from the other slots.
Like with the previous season, there also Season Conquests. For those not familiar, these are extra goals that can be completed as part of the Season Journey. Players that complete at least three Conquests get to earn all cosmetic rewards. The challenges for the new season are:
- Sprinter and Speed Racer
- Complete Acts I through V at max level in under one hour.
- Boss Mode and Worlds Apart
- Good for players who want to go fast while killing things.
- On A Good Day and I Can’t Stop
- For players that prefer to level their Legendary Gems.
- Prove your mastery of different Class Sets with:
- Years of War
- Dynasty
- Masters of the Universe
- Masters of Sets
So what are the Seasonal Cosmetic Rewards? For Season 22, these are going to be a repeat of the awards offered back in Season 10. Players can also earn the Black Soulstone-themed portraits along with the scholarly Loremaster pennant, both introduced in Season 10 as well. That’s not all, as there’s also the End of Journey rewards. This time it’s the Book of Cain pet and the Lost Civilization Portrait Frame.
Let’s not forget the Season Journey Rewards. These are for players that have been slaying demons and managed to reach Conqueror for each Season Journey. Get the chance to earn an extra tab by completing the Conqueror tier:
