Diablo 3 is all set to launch its newest season this coming March 13. Season 20 is dubbed the Season of the Forbidden Archives. As with any new season, expect some Journey Rewards along with Cosmetic Rewards. Of course, there's also the Seasonal Conquests.
In terms of story, this season focuses on Zoltun Kulle. Diablo players should be familiar with his name as he was the Horadrim who is not only celebrated, but also reviled. However, he was the one who managed to unlock and harness the power of Kanai’s Cube, leveraging its power in order to siphon and archive the energies of powerful items. In Season 20, players get the chance to explore the power Kulle might have been able to give had his experiments been left unchecked.
Season Journey Rewards

Finally, there is Years of War/Dynasty which is a great test for those who enjoy mastering different Class Sets. Then there's also Masters of the Universe/Masters of Sets that's sure to challenge players' tactical understanding of Set Dungeons.
Haedrig’s Gift
For this season, the Class Sets that are rewarded when completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Headrig's Gift are rotated again. For those not familiar, this is how it works. Players that complete Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey are going to be rewarded with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. Each Gift has a few pieces from one of the player's Class Sets. Players only get to unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore.
The set players receive depends on the class of the character that they're playing when they open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, players need to open all three on the same character. Here are the sets that players can get for this new season through Headrig's Gift:
- Barbarian
- Immortal King’s Call
- Crusader
- Seeker of the Light
- Demon Hunter
- Natalya’s Vengeance
- Monk
- Uliana’s Stratagem
- Necromancer
- Trag’Oul’s Avatar
- Witch Doctor
- Spirit of Arachyr
- Wizard
- Vyr’s Amazing Arcana
Cosmetic Rewards
Back in Season 17, Diablo 3 reintroduced previous Seasonal rewards in order to make them available to players who may have missed them the first time around. For Season 20, the awards that were available for Season 8 are returning to the Season Journey.
The game is going to continue to hand out new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17. This time there are two new cosmetic rewards for those who complete the whole of the Season journey with the Teganze Warrior Portrait Frame and Bat pet.
Aside from the Boots and Pants slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, players can also earn a series of portrait frames that smolder with demonic fire from the Burning Hells. There is also the iconic “wings” of Andariel available once more.
