Mickey Mouse is all set to make his return to video games and he's bringing with him some friends. Disney Illusion Island is making its debut this July 28, exclusive on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for this upcoming cooperative 2D platform adventure game are now available for $39.99 at the Nintendo eShop.
In the game, players join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald. The gang goes on a perilous journey to explore the colorfully hand-crafted but mysterious island of Monoth. They're off to look for three magical tomes, powerful books used to protect the island.
Players should be happy to know that the game features the voice actors of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. In addition, listen and enjoy an original orchestral score to be immersed. There's a choice to go on the adventure solo or form a team with up to three friends.

Talking about the game, VP for Disney, Pixar, and 20th Century Games Luigi Priore revealed in a statement that they're excited to have worked with Dlala Studios as they expanded on the world of Mickey and Friends by offering a new and original storyline. He added that fans are truly in for a treat when they take on this whimsical cartoon-like experience.
Meanwhile, Dlala Studios Lead Developer Grand-Scrutton shared that they're excited for players to try their spin on a new brand-new experience for Mickey and Friends. He went on to say that it was an honor working on this game and that they hope fans around the world will love playing it.
