The Division 2 announced that Title Update 10 is finally arriving to the Public Test Server. Preload is going to be available starting today, with the first phase to begin tomorrow, May 22. The update is going to offer the usual quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. However, it’s also going to bring changes that are planned to buff players with the hopes of making the game not only more fun, but more rewarding.
There may be some of you wondering why there’s a PTS for Title Update 10. For one, there has been no PTS during the last couple of updates. The team wanted to make sure that additional testing has gone into the update in order to guarantee a great experience for everyone. In addition, the team also wants more players to be a part of the development phase by giving them the chance to provide feedback and bug reports. Should the PTS be successful, the plan is to hold more of them in the future.
As mentioned, Title Update 10 focuses on game health and generosity. Changes players can expect include:
- Almost all weapons are going to be buffed.
- Improvements to gear sets.
- Legendary difficulty is going to be more rearding.
- During the first phase of the PTS, there’s going to be an increased chance of loot drops from Veterans and Elites.
- No purple loot at higher difficulties.
- Changes to PvP weapon damage and time-to-kill.
- Changes to Exotics:
- Availability of some Exotics coming from unique sources are going to be broadened. Players can now find them as:
- Targeted loot
- Exotic Caches
- Drops from Raid Bosses and Heroic or Legendary Final bosses
- Only crafted Exotics are going to be available through Raid Exotics and The Bighorn
- These are available once players get their blueprints.
- Players can try Season 2 and Raid 2 Exotics and during the PTS.
- Availability of some Exotics coming from unique sources are going to be broadened. Players can now find them as:
State of the Game
The Division 2 also revealed the current State of the Game. The team is currently looking into these issues:
- Delta errors in Raids
- The team continues to see some reports of this happening and are investigating further.
- Foxtrot errors
- This has been vastly improved with the release of Title Update 9.1.
- While the team is seeing fewer and fewer reports, they are going to keep monitoring to make sure this has been resolved.
- Hit registration
- There have been reports of players whose shots are not registering under certain circumstances.
- The videos the community has been sending have been helpful, but the team needs a bit more information.
- Players who report these issues are asked to include the time and date they were encountered when sending videos and reports.
- New Terms of Use Clarification
- Ubisoft recently updated its Terms of Use company-wide which you can read here.
- Boosting characters or helping lower-level players progress in The Division 2 is not considered a breach of the terms.
- Being in the same group as a cheater/exploiter in The Division 2 is not considered a breach of the terms.
