The Division’s daily missions still haven’t reset and have been offering players the same content for the past three days. Initially, players were excited when The Division announced Daily Challenges coming to the online shooter. A program like this helps extend the length of the game, giving players smaller challenges to keep themselves busy until more content drops. The only problem is the Daily Challenges don’t reset daily.
Daily missions should work exactly how they sound. Every 24 hours, players will have a new challenge ahead of them, replaying older missions on higher difficulty for bonus rewards. However, the mission that was available on Saturday afternoon is STILL the mission right now.
The worst part is that the missions offered, Lincoln Tunnel, Madison Field Hospital and Hudson Refugee Camp, are the missions players have already played multiple times in The Division’s beta periods. Want players to get excited about your game? Don’t have them do the same mission again and again.
While this is more of a gripe, especially compared to some of the bigger bugs and glitches found recently, it’s still another issue Ubisoft is having post-launch with The Division. The team at Ubisoft Massive is really going to have to buckle down and fix these issues if they want players to continue returning.
So what do you think? Are you bothered by the lack of updates to the Daily Missions? What else does Ubisoft need to focus on fixing in The Division? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
