The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has narrowed the release date window for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 . In the issue -- via Anime News Network -- it was revealed that Japan will get the sequel to the popular 2015 fighting game this winter.
When Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was first announced, only a 2016 release window and promised that more information will be given at this year’s E3.
So what does this mean for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s release date elsewhere in the world? The first Xenoverse game was released in Japan in Feb. 5 of 2015. The United States received the game on Feb. 24 and Feb. 27. With the rest of the world getting Xenoverse only a few weeks after Japan, and that the announcement of Xenoverse 2 will also see a worldwide release, it’s very possible that Xenoverse 2 will also be releasing in North America this winter.
