New game details behind the upcoming "Black Panther" game from EA recently leaked, and it gives an insight as to how the next hero to rule the nation and take the mantle is chosen.
The game will reportedly not give users a set narrative or story to follow, particularly regarding who gets to rule the kingdom and take on the titular role of its protector, the Black Panther.
Instead, it seems to be the choice of the player.
EA's 'Black Panther' to Let Players Decide Who Will Take the Mantle
"Call of Duty" leakerTheGhostOfHope has recently shared a scoop regarding Cliffhanger Games and EA's "Black Panther" development, claiming that major game details have been leaked.
According to the leaks, there will reportedly be five characters who are possible characters of Wakanda that players may be able to choose from to appoint as its leader and hero.
The choices include five familiar characters that were also present in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's "Black Panther" franchise. Players are reportedly able to choose from T'Challa, Shuri, Azzuri, M'Baku, and Erik Killmonger to take on the mantle.
Should this be accurate, players can enjoy a different approach to experiencing the story of being the Black Panther, who is both the leader of Wakanda and its chosen protector who is given the mythical powers through a ritual.
There are still no specific details officially confirmed by either Cliffhanger Games or Electronic Arts regarding the "Black Panther" game as of writing.
Forge Your Own Destiny and Rise to be Wakanda's Next Leader
In Cliffhanger Games and EA's "Black Panther," players are given the chance to forge their destiny while still playing the titular role, and it will reportedly feature significant characters that are very much known to comic and MCU fans alike.
The MCU has given the world a glimpse of all of these characters who can be chosen as the leader of Wakanda except for M'Baku and Azzuri. TM'Baku has been given the chance to lead the Wakandan Council at the end of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and Azzuri is the Black Panther that fights alongside Captain America in World War II in the "Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra" upcoming game.
The latest leak sparks a possibility of a new experience to look forward to in the upcoming "Black Panther" game, and if this leak turns out to be true, it will be an interesting take for the game's narrative.
