If you missed out on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon when it debuted in 2013, then you’re in luck because Blood Dragon is the latest video game being given away by Ubisoft as part of the publisher’s ongoing 30th anniversary celebration. And we couldn’t be happier, considering we said the game was “one of the most consistently-engaging gameplay experiences of [2013]” in our review. But let’s get to the pertinent information.
Here’s how to claim your free Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon key.
Head over to Ubisoft’s 30th Anniversary website, Ubi30, and either create a new Uplay account (if you don’t have one already) or sign-in with your existing account. You’ll also have to check a box that says you know you’re downloading a game that’s rated M for Mature but that last hurdle shouldn’t trip anyone up. Once finished, you should find a free copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in your Uplay Games Library.
Obviously, the big downside to this promotion is that you have to both install and use Uplay, the terrible launcher/marketplace run by Ubisoft. But giving up your name and email address, if you haven’t already, is certainly one of the better prices we’ve seen for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon .
