It hasn't been long since FOAMSTARS was released, and the inaugural season started with players were treated to Starry Pop. In less than two weeks, Season One is going to end and a new one begins. Season Two is titled as "Groovy Disco" and the fun starts March 8. All players are invited to join the festivities and get access to a new character and new modes. There's also different new Free and Premium cosmetic content for everyone to enjoy.
As mentioned, the new season is set to introduce a new character in the game. Get ready to meet the newest FOAMSTAR "Coiff Guy." Players can get him free as a Tier 31 reward under the Season Pass. Those who want to get him early can do so by buying the Premium Pass. In addition, Missions 4-6 have been added to FOAMSTAR Missions. With this players can learn more about the individual stories of the FOAMSTARS like their backgrounds. They also have the chance to fight in a boss battle versus "Dark Ramzey" in Mission 6.
The new season is, of course, going to feature limited-timed events. These are:
- Ranked Party
- Rise in the ranks of FOAMSTARS by competing in:
- two limited-time seasonal events
- solo player-based Ranked Party Lonestar
- team-based Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe
- There are seven ranks to progress though which are:
- Bronze Star
- Silver Star
- Gold Star
- Platinum Star
- Diamond Star
- Superstar
- Party Legend
- Earning enough Rank Points to take part in the Rank-Up Trials.
- Extreme Party
- Challenge players in two special themed modes:
- All Coiff Guy Party: every player team competes to opponent teams as Coiff Guy
- Super Duel Party: players battle 1-on-1
- Happy FriYAY Party
- A weekend-only party event with no winners or losers, just the opportunity to try-out next season's FOAMSTAR.

Season Pass Content
To gain XP, players need to compete in battles or finish missions. They also have to complete Weekly Challenges. Earning XP allows them to progress through the season tiers and unlock rewards. This is for the Free Season Pass. Those who buy the Premium Season Pass get to unlock even more rewards. A Premium Season Pass is available for $5.99.
FOAMSTARS is available for $29.99 starting March 5 through the PlayStation Store and needs a PlayStation Plus subscription.
