There are still a few days left before FOAMSTARS comes out. This early though Square Enix has already revealed what's being planned for the game once it launches on February 6. The roadmap shows that for 2024, players can look forward to seeing a total of six seasons play out.
Each season runs for five weeks and introduction a selection of new characters, maps, events, and cosmetics. Each season also brings with it a Season Pass where players can earn experience and then progress through the ranks. Experience can be obtained through missions, battles, and challenges. In addition, all players can immediately access the new modes and new maps. This is to make sure that they're always part of the party. It also gives them the chance to unlock new characters by going through the ranks and achieving challenges.
A Premium Season Pass is going to be available and priced at $5.99. This one allows players to immediately unlock new Season Pass characters as well as earn additional season-specific cosmetics.

FOAMSTARS is releasing worldwide on February 6 and to be exclusive for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as part of the monthly game line-up for the PlayStation Plus in February. Those subscribed to the service can redeem, download, and play at no extra cost until March 4. Those who redeem during this period get to the game in their PlayStation Plus library and can continue to play as long as they have an ongoing subscription. Starting March 5, the game is available for $29.99 through the PlayStation Store and needs a PlayStation Plus subscription.
