Another 'instant death' location has been discovered in Fortnite's Season 9. This time around, players can experience the bug-laden thrill and hilarious brokenness of unwarranted instant death in the area around Neo-Tilted.
Last season, Fortnite players were baffled, but at the same entertained when the Unvaulting event left some bugs in the game. Particularly, the area around Loot Lake where the Unvaulting event was centered became an instant death location that, as the wording suggests, immediately killed players who unwittingly tread on a certain cell in-game.
Thanks to the efforts of Reddit user u/rtjr2, we now know the location of yet another instant-death location this time in Season 9. User u/rtjr2 outlines the discovery in a video, which was posted on the official Fortnite subreddit r/FortniteBR.
Season 9 kicked off only last week on May 9, but brought with it several changes that have so far been well-received by the Fortnite community. However, while casual players are pretty happy with the recent changes, the more competitive-minded members of the Fortnite gaming community have expressed their concerns over balance and consistency issues, such as the ones revolving around the new combat shotgun's damage in-game.
However, whether you like these little bugs and inconsistencies, enjoy them (or hate on them) while you can. Epic Games, the developer behind Fortnite Battle Royale, isn't one to twiddle its thumbs while something in the game is broken. Many of these fixes, as well as as host of other minor issues, will probably be addressed in the upcoming version 9.10 patch, which is expected to be released tomorrow on May 14.
