Fortnite officially welcomes John Wick with the Limited Time Mode called Wick’s Bounty.
In this latest LTM, the High Table has opened a new contract, and players are given the chance to collect the bounty. Eliminating other players allows you to collect gold tokens, and the first team to fulfill the order wins.
John Wick appearing in the game is no longer a surprise for players and fans alike. Data miners have long noticed that possibility of of the famous assassin making an appearance in Fortnite. The question that remained was not if, but when. Many agreed that if the hitman was indeed going to be part of Fortnite, even if for a short period, it would likely happen before the US release of the latest film in the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
John Wick’s entry was confirmed further with the release of update v9.01, which added the Tactical Assault Rifle.
The rules of the new LTM are simple. Each player begins the match with several gold tokens. A player that kills another gets the tokens that the target was carrying. The winner of the match is the squad that first reaches the specified gold token count.

- Limited respawning: Each player has three lives.
- The more tokens a player is carrying, the more visible on the map they will be when moving or shooting.
- The top 3 token leaders will have their location shown on the map & compass at all times.
Completing the different challenges give players reward like:
- Gold Token Back Bling
- One Shot Glider
- Boogeyman Wrap
- Bonus XP
Offered along with the LTM, players can get the John Wick Set, which includes the John Wick Outfit as well as the Simple Sledge Pickaxe.
Fortnite Battle Royale is no stranger to crossovers as Thanos had an appearance in the game alongside the release of both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. During the release of the Ralph Breaks the Internet, Wreck-it-Ralph made a surprise cameo to Fortnite. After John Wick, there’s no telling who may drop by next. Maybe Men in Black?
