The first official crossover between "Fortnite" and "Cowboy Bebop" has made its way into the battle royale in the past few days, and it has been a blast for the fans of the intergalactic action anime franchise.
However, there is more to this crossover than what people know as it also offers several freebies to unlock in the game that players would not want to miss to complete their cosmic experience.
If you are a fan of "Cowboy Bebop" but do not have the extra cash lying around to convert to V-Bucks, there is still a way for you to enjoy this latest crossover at no additional cost.
'Fortnite' x 'Cowboy Bebop' Crossover Offers Freebies
Last week was a blast for all "Fortnite" fans as it added yet again to its collaborations with famed Japanese manga and anime franchises after dropping its latest crossover with "Cowboy Bebop."
However, that is not yet the end as there are many more to experience with the franchise than the skins available in the Item Shop to purchase. This is because two new items are up for grabs without the need to buy them.
The two special items available to redeem over at "Fortnite" are "Cowboy Bebop"-themed weapons and vehicle wraps that users may equip to their loadout in the customization screen as. Next, Epic Games is also offering the "Bebop Legends Loading Screen," which features the two characters who also made their way as cosmetics in the game.
"Fortnite" introduced the character skins of Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine in the battle royale game last week, and it was a treat among players who are also massive fans of the iconic 90s anime franchise.
The "Fortnite Style" bundle features a "Cowboy Bebop" set featuring both Spike and Faye, alongside two emotes, back bling, a wrap, the Red Tail Reaver pickaxe, and the Swordfish II Slasher pickaxe. This bundle is available for 3,400 V-Bucks instead of 6,600.
How to Obtain 'Fortnite' x 'Cowboy Bebop' Items
Players only need to play "Fortnite" to unlock these special free items featuring its "Cowboy Bebop" collection. To obtain the special weapon wrap, players only need to log and play the game and then progress to three levels to have it available for redemption and added to one's Locker.
On the other hand, the "Bebop Legends Loading Screen" will take some extra time as it requires advancing to five levels before it is rewarded to players.
That being said, there is now a special event over at "Fortnite" to unlock these items more easily as 10 different quests are available to accomplish, which will grant a total of 10,000 XP after completing all of them.
These quests can help users level up more easily while also unlocking other rewards, and according to ComicBook Gaming, it will only take an hour or so of playtime to finish these quests and unlock the items.
Players have until March 18 before the "Cowboy Bebop" promotion ends.
This latest crossover is part of "Fortnite's" Chapter 6 Season 2, which goes by the theme of "Lawless," befitting the plot and story of "Cowboy Bebop" where Spike and his team are known to be mercenaries for hire.
