With Forza Motorsport 8 is rumored to release in early 2021 for the Xbox Series X, Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft are planning to remove Forza Horizon 3 from the store soon. The game has a huge discount right now before Microsoft removes it from the store. You can grab the standard edition in the Microsoft store for $9.89, and the ultimate edition for $20.99, which received massive price drops from $29.99 and $69.99 respectively.
The new Forza Motorsport 8 is rumored to bring in tons of new content and features, such as new tire pressure models, track temperatures, an online ranked system, and many more things which will be revealed before the launch of the game. Turn 10 Studios is planning to release fewer cars during the launch so that the developers can work on the game and perfect it.
“Forza Horizon 3 is headed towards "End of Life" status, and we're celebrating the Australian festival with a sale on the Standard and Ultimate Editions!” the official Forza Twitter account tweeted. “When a game reaches "End of Life", that means it and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store. However, features like multiplayer and online services will still be accessible for those that own the game.”
If you love playing racing games, this sale is a steal for you. The graphics and amount of cars make Forza Horizon 3 super repayable. That said, you may be better served saving up for Forza Horizon 4 or subscribing to Xbox Game Pass.
The sale will run until September 27 and after it ends, Forza Horizon 3 will get removed from the Microsoft store. So, grab the game while the offer lasts.
So, what are your thoughts on Forza Horizon 3 getting removed from the Microsoft store? Do you plan on grabbing the game during the sale? Personally, I think it’s a good deal, but you could get Xbox Game Pass and play Forza Horizon 4 instead. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
