The Ultimate Car Pack Bundle for "Forza Horizon 5" is now available for purchase and combines all of the racing games' previous Car Pack DLCs into one package.
The latest development seems like a signal by Microsoft that the racing game is approaching the end of the track of its lifetime. The bundle is known as "Forza Horizon 5: Ultimate Car Pack Collection."
Forza Horizon 5 Car Bundle
The package includes all 11 of the previous standalone car pack add-ons for the racing game. Additionally, there is a mix of car counts and prices in the packs, but there will be a total of 52 vehicles in all that players will receive.
Players who bought the previous Car Pack DLCs separately would have cost them a total of $75. The latest bundle will introduce a 33% discount and will only be priced at $49.99, but there is also a catch.
Fans of the racing game who bought any of the previous Car Pack DLCs through Steam will only be able to buy the ones that they do not have yet. Fortunately, these will still feature the 33% discount that was given to the whole bundle, according to GTPlanet.
However, players on Xbox consoles will be forced to purchase the entire bundle, which would mean that they also buy the previous Car Pack DLCs that they already own.
This could mean that there are some instances where buying the remaining packs separately out of the bundle, without the discount, would be better.
An End of an Era
The fact that Microsoft is making the Ultimate Car Pack Bundle available suggests that there will be no more new paid add-ons for "Forza Horizon 5." This is arguably the clearest sign that the racing game is at the end of its life.
This comes as a similar example was seen with "Need for Speed Unbound," which had its Ultimate Collection last year. The package bundled together all of the game's premium DLC cars, Traxion said.
With the end of "Forza Horizon 5" somewhat in sight, some fans are now wondering if developer Playground Games is getting ready to announce "Forza Horizon 6" in the near future.
The new bundle also comes as the game's Midnight Muscles series is scheduled to begin on Jan. 30, 2025.
Some of the more notable inclusions of the Ultimate Car Pack Bundle is the 2023 Lotus Emira, 2022 Pagani Huayra R, 2021 Forsberg Racing Nissan "Altimaniac," and 2020 Saleen Sportruck XR Black Label.
All of these cars are from the Horizon Racing Car Pack, according to Operation Sports.
