We’re really excited for Friday the 13th: The Game, especially now that it will have a single-player mode and more multiplayer maps than originally promised. The attention to detail going into Jason Voorhees’ first digital killing spree is unbelievable. We recently learned you can drive a car in an effort to get loose of Camp Crystal Lake.
But the real lavish attention is directed toward violence, as is appropriate for a game based on the Friday the 13th series. How will this pan out in terms of actual gameplay? The Friday the 13th: The Game team has recently posted a number of new screenshots that reveal just how players and Jason can expect to interact:

There are a lot of cool details here that show off the variety of gameplay we can expect in Friday the 13th: The Game, including sneaking around, using a flashlight, grabbing an axe and going toe-to-toe with Jason, hiding with some sort of cover mechanic, Jason tossing people out of windows and a quick video reproducing that horrible moment in every slasher movie when you realize the killer is not yet dead.
