Earn made a new friend and Alfred a new enemy in Atlanta episode 4, ‘The Streisand Effect.’ Alfred learns there’s a dude putting him on blast on the internet, so he pays him a visit. Earn and Darius become closer when a pawn shop trade goes wrong.
As usual, there were more than a few records played last night that are worth a second listen. So, here’s every song played in the fourth episode of Atlanta.
‘Philosopher’s Throne’ - Xavier Wulf
This is the song playing in the club as Alfred walks out to meet Earn. It’s also the opening tune, after the whole Zan incident.
‘Space Song’ - Beach House
Earn is taking a nap at Alfred’s and listening to this song through his over-the ear headphones. A gun sits on the coffee table as he lies on the couch.
'No Time To Cry' - July A.D.
Earn and Darius head to the pawn shop so Earn can trade in his phone for some cash. This song is playing over the store's loud speakers.
‘Could Have Been’ - Lee Fields
Alfred is at the bar playing pool with his friend, tripping Zan putting him on blast. A video saying Paper Boi makes shitty music is blowing up on the internet.
‘IT G MA Remix’ - Keith Ape feat. A$AP Ferg, Father, Dumbfoundead & Waka Flocka Flam
After trading a cell phone for a sword at the pawn shop, Darius brings Earn to a warehouse. Darius trades the sword for a big dog. Expecting money, Earn is confused. Darius says they have to make yet another trade.
'Ride Shotgun' - Eearz
Alred finds Zan at his job. Turns out, he's a pizza delivery boy. Alred joins Zan on a delivery run. When the customer opens the door and Zan’s little protege hands him the pizza, this is the song playing inside the house.
‘Home Again’ - Michael Kiwanuka
Darius sells the dog, but tells Earn the money won’t come until September. Earn is pissed because he needed the money for Van and his baby. To make up for the misunderstanding, Darius tells Earn to sell if cellphone since he gets a new one every month anyway. As Darius walks back to the car, he says to Earn, “We’re friends now.”
