Chipotle Mexican Grill announced that they've entered into a partnership where Tekken 8 players get the chance to in-game currency with digital entrée purchases made through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. There's also going to be a new digital menu item that's inspired by Tekken fans and features Tekken 8 as the title game for the 2024 Chipotle Challenger Series.
To obtain in-game currency, players need to order through the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com and use the promo code EWGF623. Long-time fans of the game should recognize this code which is a homage to the iconic "Electric Wind God Fist" move. This promotion started April 8 and to run until supplies last.
How it works is that for every order placed that's qualified, players get to receive a code that's worth 500 Tekken Coins. This should let them but different costumes and items in the in-game shop. Chipotle Rewards members meanwhile can redeem 250 points in the Chipotle Rewards Exchange and obtain an extra code for 500 Tekken Coins. Learn more about it here.
Challenger Series
The 2024 Chipotle Challenger Series is being done in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and to feature Tekken 8 as the title game. This is the first-ever branded tournament on the PlayStation Tournaments platform with the and the Grand Finals event to be broadcast live on the PlayStation esports Twitch and YouTube channels on May 4.
All eligible competitors in the Chipotle Challenger Series get to earn free chips & guac from Chipotle. The two (2) winners of the Chipotle Challengers Series Grand Finals receive Free Chipotle for a Year, a trip to Evo 2024 in Las Vegas, a share of $20,000 cash prize, among others.

Evo 2024
For the second consecutive year, Chipotle is serving as a presenting sponsor of the Evolution Championship Series in Las Vegas. Chipotle is set to have an on-site Community Lounge at the event and fuel the early bracket runs by providing free entrée cards to pool winners.
The brand is also introducing "Chipotle Extra Match" segments during the live broadcast to lower the downtime for viewers while also providing coverage opportunities for players who weren't featured on-broadcast.
