King crab fishing boat simulator Deadliest Catch: The Game is all set to arrive to the PC through Steam tomorrow, November 15. Based on Discovery Channel's popular documentary series, a Steam Early Access version of Deadliest Catch: The Game is already available today. Versions for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are set to arrive in 2020.
Developed by Moonlit S.A., in partnership with Discovery Channel and Discovery Game Studios, the game boasts being a realistic 3D simulator offering extensive management elements. In this game, players take on the role of a special fishing vessel skipper, also known as a crab hunter.
In terms of gameplay, players not only fish for king crabs in the Bering Sea, but also take part in a wide range of additional activities like preparing the trip and maintaining the bearing. Players should also expect dynamic weather conditions as well as realistic water physics.

Ultimate Games S.A. CEO Mateusz Zawadzki shared in a statement that Deadliest Catch remains to be one of the few documentary series that continues to enjoy high popularity. The game faithfully mirrors the conditions seen in the show. For this game, Zawadzki said that they "placed emphasis on the precision of depiction, a high level of realism and attention to detail."
The gameplay is accessible while also being sophisticated. Zawadzki went one to say that in "developing this simulator, we also used the experience gained through creating and publishing one of the best-rated fishing games in the history of the Steam platform, which is Ultimate Fishing Simulator."
Deadliest Catch: The Game started on Kickstarter and, after a successful campaign, made its debut in the early access phase. Expect for this game to be expanded over the next few months. Plans include creating new crew management options and offering additional vessel development options. The developers are also preparing new content like a career mode and additional elements for personalizing ships.
