Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint announced that they’ll be introducing free content this 2021. It’s going to be done through two major title updates, and in general, players can expect progression, added replayability, and more customization. Of course, the usual improvements to the quality and technical aspects of the game should be expected.
It was back in February this year that the Ghost Recon team first announced the planned release of new content. The team also said that their main focus was to address the feedback coming from players.
The Teammate Experience
So what’s coming this year? The first one is Title Update 4.0.0 called the Teammate Experience Update will arrive at the end of Spring. The team shared that when they first introduced AI teammates, they were happy with the reactions from players. As a result, they knew that they wanted to improve that feature, and thus, this update is all about AI teammates.
The update hopes to enhance the player experience when it comes to the AI squad while also adding some features requested by those in the community. One such feature is a new XP progression for the AI squad, which allows players to unlock new abilities as well as new passive skills. The team is also planning to launch a dedicated quest log where players can experiment with different new AI squad features.
Second Update
By fall, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is getting Title Update 4.1.0. The thing is, nothing yet has been revealed about this patch except for the possible release schedule. Although additional details are set to be released at a later date, the team did tease that this update could offer what may be the biggest operation ever.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint was released in October 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A version for Google Stadia was later launched in December of the same year. While it is the 11th game in the Ghost Recon series, it is a narrative sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands.
