Ghost of Tsushima fans will soon get another reason to play their favorite Samurai game. According to the ESRB Rating, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cu t is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, no release date and extra content were mentioned. However, we have some guesses.
Standalone Expansion
According to a post, a recent rumor suggested that a standalone expansion of Ghost of Tsushima is currently in the works and will be released later this year. The alleged expansion, Ghost of Ikishima, may be similar to what Spider-Man: Miles Morales was to Spider-Man (2018).
The rumor became more believable when the Ghost of Ikishima Domain got registered. If the leak is true, then we should expect an announcement in a couple of weeks. The Director’s Cut may likely contain the expansion pack as well.

Ghost of Tsushima is not the only game that has a Director’s Cut coming. A couple of weeks ago, the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding was announced via a weird trailer. We just hope that both of them feature tons of extra content that justifies a repurchase. Of course, their PC versions are a welcome addition as well.
About the Game
Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure open-world game where you can fulfill your fantasy of being a samurai. The game received critical reception from both fans and critics. However, some criticism was directed toward side missions. The title was nominated for GOTY in The Game Awards 2020. It was also a major financial success for Sony, selling more than 6.5 million copies by March 2021, giving us hope that a proper sequel is also in development. Unlike Days Gone that isn’t getting a sequel thanks to a lukewarm reception and mediocre sales.
