The new Pixel phones will likely be unveiled at Google’s Oct. 4 event, but the devices have surfaced online several times before their launch.
The HTC made-smartphones are expected to have design aspects inspired by the HTC 10 as well as a host of premium specs. Consumers can expect to pay an upwards of $450, or even a starting price of $650 for the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.

Features for the Google Pixel will likely include a 5-inch Full HD Display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip 4GB of RAM, 32GB and 128GB of internal storage options, 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera, a 2,770mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.
Features for the Google Pixel XL will likely include a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32GB and 128GB of internal storage options, a 12-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 3,450mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.
Both devices are expected to have IP53 water resistant and will both run Android 7.1 Nougat. This update may include features missing from the initial August Android Nougat launch, such as a new Pixel launcher, the Google Assistant artificial intelligence software and support for Google’s virtual reality platform, Daydream.
