If you missed out on getting the armored Karin Technical truck in GTA Online Heists, the beast of a vehicle is returning to stores this week. There are also a number of bonuses, discounts and other exciting things going on in Los Santos.
The big news is the Karin Technical armored truck has returned to stores. The truck was previously released during the Heists update, but has returned better than ever. If you have the Mobile Operations Center’s Vehicle Workshop Module, the Karin Technical can get upgraded armor and many other customization upgrades.
Even more upgrades can be unlocked for the Karin Technical if you have Bunker research technicians. These upgrades include new weapons, armor options and more. And once all the mods are complete, the Karin Technical can still be stored in a civilian garage and used as a personal vehicle.
From now until July 24, Arms Manufacturing will also be boosted by 25 percent. The salaries for all Bodyguards and Associates are doubled during that time as well, and completing a sell mission from your Bunker will earn you a free black Ammu-Nation hoodie.
There are also vehicle and armor discounts until July 24. The following discounted items will be reduced by 25 percent:
- Phantom Wedge (both standard and SecuroServ trade prices)
- Annihilator
- Buzzard
- Vehicle Armor
- Bullet Proof Tires
Lastly, the premium race and time trial schedule from July 18 to July 24 are revealed. The premium race will be “Into the Dam,” which is locked to the Blazer Aqua. The time trial race will be “Sawmill.” Players can launch Premium Races though the Quick Job App on your in-game phone or via the yellow corona at Legion Square.
The top three finishers receive GTA$ payouts and all participants are awarded Triple RP. To participate in Time Trials, set a waypoint to the marker on your in-game map and enter via the purple corona.
