Fortnite revealed that none other than Gotham’s Clown Prince of Crime is arriving to the mega-popular battle royale. The Joker arrives through The Last Laugh Bundle, which is going to be released on November 17. This bundle is going to offer The Joker Outfit, Laugh Riot Bling, Bad Joke Pickaxe, The Joker’s Revenge Pickaxe, and the Pick a Card Emote. This bundle is available for 1,000 V-Bucks.
That said, The Joker won’t be coming alone as he brings with him the floral femme fatale Poison Ivy. Midas also returns with the new Midas Rex Outfit.
The Dark Knight
So what do you think prompted The Joker to join Fortnite? Well, it could be because Batman has actually returned to the game. Get to wear the Cowl as Batman with the Caped Crusader RMT Pack. This pack also has the Batman Comic Book outfit along with The Dark Knight movie outfit. The Batman Gear Bundle also offers those innovative Bat gadgets like the Bat-Signal Emote and Batglider.
Batman didn’t arrive alone either. Hoping to stir up some mayhem is Harley Quinn, who brings with her the Harley Hitter Pickaxe and Punchline Pickaxe. Catwoman is also here and more than ready to pounce.
Save the World Update
Fortnite recently released its status report for Save the World. The first update is that the Tactical Assault Sledgehammer is going to be available from the Event Store from August 21 at 8:00 PM ET through September 4. Other details include:
- Standard Perk: Assault Crit Damage
- Increases Assault and SMG Critical Damage by 75%
- Commander Perk: Assault Crit Damage+
- Increases Assault and SMG Critical Damage by 225%
For those who can’t wait, there is the Cloaked Star who makes his way back to the Radio Station in order to broadcast Part 2 of the Song of the Summer. This is going to be available on August 21 at 8:00 PM ET. This one is giving everyone the chance to unlock Thunder Thora. Thunder Thora is arriving with:
- Standard Perk: Electrified Floors
- Enemies standing on structures affected by B.A.S.E. take 12.7 base Energy Damage every 5 seconds.
- Standard Perk: Electrified Floors+
- Enemies standing on structures affected by B.A.S.E. take 38.1 base Energy Damage every 5 seconds.
