The cross-platform network beta for Guilty Gear -Strive- is slated to begin on February 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET, available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The beta will last until February 6 at 8:00 a.m. ET.
Players from different platforms can experience the gameplay for free without platform restrictions. All that needs to be done is to download a separate application from the main Guilty Gear -Strive- game on the storefront of each platform.
Players able to join the beta can choose from all the 22 characters available, including DLC characters currently released. There are also different games modes to try out, such as:
- Tutorial Mode: Players can learn the basics of how to play.
- Mission Mode: Players get to learn useful techniques for matches in a mission format.
- Survival Mode: Fight consecutive battles against the computer with a limited pool of health.
- Training Mode: Players can recreate different situations and practice to their heart’s content.
- VS COM, VS 2P: Players can fight against the computer or a friend.
- Online Match (Rank Tower, Open Park, Player Match): Play online against others from around the world.
- Combo Maker: Make original combo or setplay. Search for other players’ recipes to try.
- Digital Figure: Set up characters, furniture, effects, and more to create a unique scene.
- Gallery: Check out the characters and BGM.
