Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST Very First PC Screenshots Released

Half of Halo: Master Chief Collection will soon be available on PC. Halo Reach and Combat Evolved Anniversary are already out and can be purchased right now on Steam. Halo 2 is currently in beta testing and, according to the developers at 343 Industries, it should be out really soon. The information was made available via an official blog post.

As we already know that MCC will release on PC in chronological order, this means that after Halo 2, its Halo 3's turns to go into beta testing. Yesterday, developers shared the very first screenshot for Halo 3 and its spinoff (also the fifth game in MCC), Halo 3: ODST. You can see the pictures below.

Halo 3: ODST

Halo 3 and ODST have never been released on PC before. It’s going to be so much fun playing them with uncapped FPS and mouse and keyboard support. After Halo 3 and ODST are out the door, the final game in the MCC series, Halo 4, will go into beta testing.

Who knows, if MCC has strong sales, which it already has, it's possible that Halo 5 will also be ported to Windows PCs. That’s the only Halo game not coming to PC as of right now. Even the upcoming Halo Infinite is getting a PC port, and even on the same launch date as the Xbox versions.

The entire MCC collection is available for purchase on Steam for only $40. It consists of a total of six games, so this sounds like an excellent deal. If you don’t want the entire collection and are only interested in one or two games, then you can purchase them for $10 each. As mentioned above, only Halo Reach and Combat Evolved are currently available, so you will have to wait for a while.
