Harry Potter: Wizards Unite may have just celebrated its second birthday, but that doesn’t mean that the celebrations are over. While there are already a bunch of activities available for July, the game is turning back time as it is reintroducing the Fantastic Flora & Fauna Brilliant Event. Wizards who have been here since the beginning know that this was the first ever Brilliant Event.
This limited-time bonus event started today, July 28 at 2:00 PM ET and runs until August 4 at 2:00 PM ET. During this period, wizards get to encounter all the Foundables that were available for both Part 1 and Part 2 of the original event.
Before we take a look into what this event has to offer, don’t forget to pick up the complimentary store pack, which contains:
- 6 Baneberry
- 4 Bulbadox Juice
- 4 Angels Trumpet
- 2 Erumpent Horn
- 1 Hermit Crab Shell
- 25 Spell Energy
During this limited-time event, the Foundables featured can be found in these locations:
- Fire Crab - Wizarding Challenges
- Fire Seed Bush - Brilliant Portkey
- Dragonhide Gloves - Tasks
- Dragon Claw - Tasks
- Ukranian Ironbelly - Tasks
- Brilliant Newt Scamander - Encounter
- Brilliant Buckbeak - Encounter
- Brilliant Unicorn – Encounter
That’s not all as wizards that manage to return Brilliant Buckbeak and Brilliant Unicorn Foundables get to receive these fragments;
- Brilliant Young Acromantula
- Brilliant Snargaluff
- Brilliant Scorched Tree Stump
- Brilliant Salamander
There’s also going to be Brilliant Portkeys, which are going to be 1.5km. Be sure to look for Bonus Assignments are they are going to be available in the game once the main tasks are finished.
Update 2.14.0
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite released an update today which adds a new Combat Appraisal system for Professions. What this does is it replaces the Profession Rank for each individual Profession into an aggregated Expertise score.
It also introduced bug fixes that correct the following errors:
- Overlapping location text from Hogwarts Fortress Gifts
- Affecting Potion Gifts when the ingredient Vault is full
- Causing a ‘Connection Lost’ pop up notification after loading into the app.
