'Hearthstone' Patch 4.2.0 Gives Us Deck Slots and a New Hero

The newest Hearthstone patch has just dropped. Patch 4.2.0 brings with it a bunch of new quality of life features and more deck slots. After years of complaints, Blizzard has finally given players nine more deck slots if you’ve unlocked all the game’s classes, 18 deck slots in total. Reno Jackson will now light up when he can be used, saving players the trouble of keeping track of what exactly remains in their deck.

A new Paladin hero was also added to the game, Lady Liadrin. In World of Warcraft she is the leader of the Blood Knights, an order of Blood Elf Paladins who fight evil. Blizzard hasn’t released details about how to get her yet, though in-game it says she’s obtainable through a World of Warcraft Promotion.

Three new card backs were added with this patch. Hogger will be the March 2016 reward, and Eye of C’thun will be available for those that pre order 50 packs of the new Hearthstone expansion Whispers of the Old Gods . You can preorder the packs starting today. The Overwatch card back comes when you purchase Overwatch: Origins Edition.

This brings us one step closer to the format changes; my finger is itching to disenchant that Mysterious Challenger.
