Hearthstone’s upcoming expansion, Forged in the Barrens, is set to be released on March 30 or over two weeks away. Players won't simply be waiting since there’s going to be a Pre-Launch Party. More than 500 Mega Bundle codes are to be given away along with a ton of gifts from Twitch subscriptions.
Before the Pre-Launch Party starts, RegisKillbin, Community Manager Chris Sierra, and Game Designer Liv Breeden are going to have a livestream where they reveal the final Forged in the Barrens cards. It’s on Match 22 at 1:00 p.m. ET and can be viewed at the official Hearthstone Twitch channel or YouTube channel.

Decklist Submission Contest
On March 22, 16 Hearthstone Creators are going to their social channels and source decks from players to play during the Theorycrafting Livestreams. Each creator will choose one winner and that lucky person is getting a free Mega Bundle code.
Those interested to submit a deck just need to visit here and come up with a Standard deck that makes use of at least 10 Forged in the Barrens cards. The deck can either have 10 unique cards or duplicates, like having two copies of five card types.
Once done, players can then reply to their favorite creator’s deck contest post on March 22 with their deck code. Make sure to include a short explanation of how the deck works.
On March 23, beginning at 12:00 p.m. EST, the Hearthstone creators are live on their personal streaming channels to showcase the new set and the decks they choose.
Pre-Release Party
It’s not just a Pre-Launch Party since there’s also a Pre-Release Party from March 26 to March 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Players get the chance to open card packs with a private pre-release Fireside Gathering. It will also Fireside Brawls to let players play with the new cards.
Here are the details for this Pre-Release Party:
- In the Forged in the Barrens No Cards Barred! Brawl, players get to construct decks using the cards that they open during the Pre-Release event.
- There are no restrictions on class or duplicates.
- There’s also going to be A Recipe for Tenacity.
- This is a pre-constructed Brawl that includes new deck recipes from the upcoming set for players to play with.
- Player’s won’t need to have pre-purchased packs to play this Brawl.
