Heroes of Twilight announced its arrival on mobile devices in summer 2021. The game offers players turn-based tactical combat delivered to real-time PvP battles. This rather refreshing take on the arena battle genre is available on both Android and iOS.
In a post, Heroes of Twilight revealed that it didn’t start out as a game. It was initially a magical world made possible by bedtime stories told by the game creator. Since then, it has evolved into a free-to-play mobile game that will soon reach players worldwide.
In addition to offering an excellent art style, Heroes of Twilight has a unique day/night cycle for each match in the Arena. The cycle is important since certain heroes can only transform when the sun is out. They also have different abilities that can be upgraded to fit the player’s preferred style. With heroes having a dual personality, this gives players a new tactical element for each match along with twice as many ways to defeat an enemy.
Indeed, with a wide range of heroes and card-based spells, that’s sure to make each match even more exciting. These are the heroes revealed thus far:
- Veroline
- Good and noble, Veroline transforms into her darker self when night falls. Her darker self is warlike and a bit leaning to having a bad temper.
- Makino
- As a were-bear, Makino boasts deadly talons and razor-sharp fangs. This beast also has wings though it can only fly during the night.
- Pestipew
- Pestipew is truly dangerous when night falls. Trouble is sure coming your way once his helmet fills with whatever that green substance is.
Here are the key game features:
- An excellent combination of turn-based strategy mechanics, powerful cards, and tactical gameplay elements.
- Outsmart your opponent 1v1 in PvP Arena matches.
- Robust and fair matchmaking between players.
- Day and night cycle mechanics that influence the gameplay strategy.
- Form shifting heroes: one character, two personalities.
- Clan system and leaderboards with events and tournaments.
