While it seems like the trend for video game reviews are that they come out the day before a game is released, Sony must be incredibly confident with Horizon Zero Dawn. Reviews for the latest game from Guerilla will begin posting over a week before launch.
According to a thread on NeoGAF, the review embargo for Horizon Zero Dawn will lift on Feb. 20 at 12 a.m. PST. That’s 3 a.m. EST and 8 a.m. GMT.
While it might seem like a week is giving too much time for reviews, we already know that Horizon Zero Dawn has completed development. Heck, it was certified gold back in January. Obviously, the development team has had enough time to iron out any wrinkles that may have been remaining. This is why delays aren’t always such a bad thing.
Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming exclusively to the PS4 on Feb. 28. iDigitalTimes will have a review posted before then, so make sure you check back for our thoughts and impressions.
