Trainers who missed out on the Tiny Tourney online competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon can now download the Mega Stones for Gardevoir, Gallade and Lopunny for free. The Mega Stone for Diancie, which was previously unavailable anywhere, is also available to download.
The Pokémon Company has released a code for trainers who own Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon to simply input and download the four Mega Stones.
If you’re wondering how to download the Mega Stones into Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon , follow these instructions.
Boot up your Pokémon Sun and Moon game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT tab. Select VIA CODE and input the following code: POYONG
All four Mega Stones will be sent to your game for trainers to pick up at any Pokémon Center. Once you arrive at a Pokémon Center, talk to the gentleman with the orange and blue shirt and he will give you all four Mega Stones. However, if you have unclaimed gifts already in your Sun or Moon version, you won’t be able to access them.
Unlike past Mystery Gift codes, there is no expiration date for the Mega Stones of Diancie, Lopunny, Gardevoir or Gallade so there is no rush. If an expiration date does arrive, we will update the story.
With the upcoming release of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, The Pokémon Company are giving trainers every chance to get all of the Mega Pokémon to battle online before the next games arrive.
The only Mega Stones not available in Sun and Moon, at the time of this writing, are Mega Camerupt, Mega Aggron and Mega Banette.
It hasn’t been confirmed if Mega Evolution will be available in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon but we can speculate that it will in some capacity.
Pokémon Sun and Moon are available now for Nintendo 3DS.
