HTC will announce its latest flagship, the HTC 10, in a streaming launch on HTC.com April 12, but a recent leak of the device’s official promo video surfaced Monday, shared by French tech blog, Nowhereelse . The video gives close-up shots of the HTC 10 and confirms HTC 10 as its name. Prior flagships by the Taiwanese manufacturer have donned the moniker “One M.”
Rumors suggest the HTC 10 will go on sale April 15, just three days after it’s officially unveiled. The flagship is expected to have major hardware upgrades, of its battery, camera and speakers, in particular.
The design shown in the promo video matches well with several leaks from recent weeks and months. The design is a cross between HTC’s older devices in the M series and the HTC One A9, which released in October.
The promo also reveals the device will feature a USB Type-C port as well as three color options.
