When it comes to mysteries, it’s important to remember that there’s usually only one truth. Case Closed will finally arrive in the Identity V worldwide. This upcoming crossover is releasing sometime in late autumn this year. In addition, this new content will launch when the game celebrates its third anniversary.
For this crossover, the silence of the dark manor is suddenly broken by a gunshot. While looking for evidence, the detective gets a flash of inspiration and opens a door that has been locked up for quite some time. What is inside?
This crossover is sure to make a lot of players happy. But the bummer is nothing much has been revealed so far.
Case Closed is an anime series based on manga of the same title. While the manga was launched in 1994, the first episode of the anime was released in 1996. If you’re keeping count, that's 25 years of solving mysteries.
Case Closed tells the story of a high school student Shinichi Kudo, who also helps police as a detective. While on a date, he witnesses something suspicious and is later poisoned by a certain black organization. Instead of dying, his body shrunk to the size of an elementary school student. To find out who did it to him, he disguises himself as Detective Conan.
Identity V is a multiplayer survival horror video game that follows the detective Orpheus who solves the mystery behind a killing inside a manor. Gameplay is divided between Quick Matches and Rank Matches where each one consists of five players.
For each match, one player is assigned the Hunter while the other four are Survivors. The Hunter needs to find and then eliminate all Survivors before they can escape. Survivors, meanwhile, are classified into various types which are Decode, Assist, Contain, and Rescue. Survivors need to escape through the two Exit Gates.
To win, the Hunter must eliminate at least three Survivors. Survivors, on the other hand, can win if three of them escape. If only two Survivors escape while the two are eliminated, then the match ends in a draw.
Identity V is available on PC, iOS, and Android.
