Afraid of clowns? Imagine how even more frightful it would be if they came from outer space. Inspired by the 1988 cult horror classic film, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is set to be released in early 2023 on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
In the game, murderous alien Klowns have arrived in the quiet town of Crescent Cove and the locals must now work together to fight back and survive the ongoing invasion. Players get to team up with either Klowns or humans and choose from different character classes.

Bringing the Nightmare to Life
Helping make the game a reality is the visionary game designer and Friday the 13th: The Game Executive Director Randy Greenback. In a statement, he revealed that it was a bucket list item to work on the next chapter of an iconic film like Killer Klowns. He added that he's excited for everyone to see what the game has to offer.
To make this latest iteration of a cult favorite both authentic and innovative, the film’s original composer John Massari was brought in to create the score.
Talking about the game, The Chiodo Brothers, the original creators of Killer Klowns who also served as the game's executive producers, shared that they are thrilled to see the sheer passion shown by the teams at Good Shepherd Entertainment and Teravision when it came to the world of Killer Klowns. They added that fans are sure to be excited once they step into the shoes of these Klowns for the very first time.
