The battle just became even more interesting as two new fighters joined the roster of The King of Fighters ALLSTAR. There are also new battle cards available along with in-game events that offer cool rewards.
The first playable EX fighter is XV Shermie (Red Element/Balance Type). She has a fighter attribute that includes [Balance Type] Fighter’s ATK increase of 60%, and a Special Skill that increases Critical Rate by 15% for three seconds when landing an attack and resets upon landing Critical Hit. By the way, she’s immune to Freeze and Petrify. What else? She activates the Standing Spin Kick when attacking targets that can’t be grabbed.
The second EX fighter added is Lady Choi Bounge (Green Element/Defense Type). Her attribute includes a [Extreme] fighter’s ATK increase of 30% and gains Power by 5% when killing an enemy. Her Special Skill includes immunity to Bleed and Fear. When she is attacked, there is a 30% chance to apply Fear to the attacker for two seconds, but this one has a cooldown of 14 seconds. In addition, when landing a skill [Lower Vain Stab EX], there is a 40% chance to reset the Active Skill Cooldown; this skill has a cooldown of 13 seconds.
New Battle Card
In addition to new playable characters, players can also look forward to getting new battle cards. The Shermie and Lady Choi Bounge Special Card, which when equipped, offers a Special Skill to the fighter. It can increase the ATK by 2%, Active Skill DMG by 4.5%, Critical DMG by 6%, and recover HP by 8%.
In-Game Events
To celebrate the release of this newest update, players can join these in-game events:
- KOF ALLSTARS 4th Anniversary Festival
- Those who log in to the game daily can receive various bonuses and in-game rewards.
- Angel’s Road Trip Mini Game
- Players can enjoy a mini-game to earn rewards based on their final score.
- Challenge Dungeon Band of Sisters
- The dungeon is available when the players obtain XV Shermie or Lady Choi Bounge.
- Band of Sisters Dungeon can be played from stage 1 to 30.
- Players can get a clear reward once each stage has been cleared.
- 3 Line Bingo!
- Complete 3 rows to achieve bingo and get various rewards.
- Shermie’s Crafting Event
- Collect Shermie’s Coins to craft a BoS Star/Moon Imprint Stone Special Box or special battle cards.
- Additional Events
- Players can participate in other events including Event Codex and Rush Dungeon, etc.
In King of Fighters ALLSTAR , players fight against waves of enemies and giant bosses. They can even go against rival fighter teams.
