Kingdom Hearts fans are in for a treat in 2020. The Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind DLC is scheduled to be launched for the PlayStation 4 on January 23. Xbox One players will need to wait a bit longer, as their version is set to be released on February 25.
The upcoming DLC gives players a new playable episode. This is good news for players, particularly those who have already completed the Kingdom Hearts 3 story. In the DLC, players follow Sora's adventures as he tries to make his way back to his friends and eventually discovers a truth he hasn't imagined before.
The DLC also brings with it a wide range of additional content and features. This includes multiple boss battles, a Limit cut, and even a Secret Episode. There's also going to be a new greeting mode, slideshow features, and a brand new Premium mode. With all of these extras, players can experience the diverse difficulty settings and gameplay challenges like never before. This should allow players to have more fun with the game.
That's not all as Kingdom Hearts 3 is offering a free update for both consoles in January. The update features a main story update plus new abilities and even a new form for Sora. This upcoming update is also adding the new Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades.
The Kingdom Hearts 3: Re:Mind DLC is priced at $30 and will be available on both the PlayStation store and Microsoft Store. Note that you need the base game to play the DLC. Players can also get the Kingdom Hearts 3: Re:Mind + Concert Video for $40. This edition has all of the features already mentioned along with a 19 track concert video of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra, among others.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was released last January and is the 12th installment of the franchise while serving as the conclusion to the "Dark Seeker saga" plot arc. The game brings back many returning gameplay features while at the same time expand player parties to five characters in total. Kingdom Hearts 3 also introduces the new Attraction Flow system, attacks that incorporate the different Disney Parks attraction. There are also minigames inspired by the classic Walt Disney Productions Mickey Mouse cartoons
