PC players have been looking forward to sinking their teeth in one of the best PlayStation games. However, their wait has been extended by a few more weeks. The PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 is delayed by a little more than three weeks, with a new release date of March 28; previously March 3.
The Delay
Naughty Dog announced the delay on Twitter and claimed that it required additional time to deliver the game in the “best shape possible.” Thankfully, the delay isn’t very long and it’s still launching in the same month.
Previous Releases
The Last of Us Part 1 was initially released for PlayStation 5 on September 2, 2022. The game is a fully-fledged remake of the original TLOU released for PS3 in 2013; the original game was also remastered for PS4. The remake will be the first title in the acclaimed series to arrive on PC. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation, we still think that the sequel will also get a PC release eventually.
Upcoming PlayStation Game on PC
If you can’t wait to play former-PS titles on your computer, then Sony has one more thing for you. Acclaimed PS5-exclusive, Returnal, is also confirmed for PC, launching on February 15 with a price tag of $59.99. There’s also a reward for players who will pre-order the game. Already Released PlayStation Games on PC
There are more than a half dozen Sony games PC players can enjoy while they wait for the above two games; from the universally acclaimed God of War (2018) to the superhero titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales. You can also play two previous Naughty Dog games by purchasing Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. A good platformer title, Sackboy: A Big Adventure was also released in October.
