Team Impulse vs. Immortals, the last game for these two teams of the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split was an absolute blood bath. Both teams fought the entire time, engaging whenever they possibly could. Whenever one team would get a pick, the other team would get one or two of their own back, which “ping ponged” for the entire game. Eventually, Immortals managed to win after getting a three man kill at baron. At the last push of the game, Huni on Ekko managed to pull off a spectacular pentakill. The game ended 21-12, with eight kills on Huni and seven on Pobelter.
This season, the Immortals proved that they are the best. They went nearly undefeated, losing one game to CLG throughout the entire split. They now have the highest win record of any team in the LCS. Huni and Reignover had an undefeated split last season when they were in Europe on Fnatic, which shows how good these Koreans are.
Adrian has also stepped up, playing as the best defensive support in the league. His Karma today was near perfect. At the bottom lane fight, he managed to stay alive with a sliver of health by using Karma’s Mantra on her tether, giving her just enough spell vamp to live.
Playoffs are going to be amazing if this is the caliber of play we can expect.
