Less than a day after Riot teased the skin, pictures have come out showing us what Mecha Zero Sion looks like . I originally thought the teaser picture was of his eye , but it turns out to be of his chest. This Sion skin reminds me of Bulkhead, one of my favorite Transformers. Mecha Zero Sion is bright orange and has a bright blue hammer that I expect to slam down with jet propulsion when he uses his Decimating Smash.
A video on Bilibili, a Chinese video site, shows the undead warmonger transforming into a train when he uses his ultimate, complete with choo-choo sound effects. This is most likely a reference to players comparing Sion’s ultimate, Unstoppable Onslaught, with a train; they are both hard to steer and cause a lot of damage when they crash. Mecha Aatrox and Mecha Malphite both transform in their recall animations, maybe with two more Mechas we can make a full Voltron.
We still haven’t received any new information on the skin, though players are speculating it might be a Legendary skin, since Ultimate skins usually don’t share archetypes. There are already three Mecha skins, and I doubt Riot is going to alienate him from his brethren. Expect to spend 1820 RP on this brute, which is a steal considering how cool it is to turn into a train.
