New Champions, items, and more await you in League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 2.6. The update is just around the corner, so if you are eager to find out more, read on.
New Champions
Two new Champions will be joining Wild Rift very soon. They are Kayle, the Righteous, and Morgana, the Fallen. They’re sisters both born from the Aspect of Justice.
Born to a Targonian Aspect at the height of the Rune Wars, Kayle continues to honor her mother’s legacy by fighting for justice. Morgana, on the other hand, embraces humanity. But unlike her sibling, she inflicts pain on the corrupt.
You can get either Kayle or Morgana for free as you explore their rivalry by participating in the Path of Justice event.
New Items
Do you get frustrated every time you’re "CC’ed?" Getting polymorphed just when you are about to use your ultimate can change the tide of battle. The developers at Riot know how frustrating it can be, so they’re introducing new items that will protect you when the need arises.
First is the Banshee’s Veil. This item provides a spell shield (Annul) that blocks the next ability that hits you. It grants 70 Ability Power, 40 Magic Resist, and 10 Ability Haste too.
The Edge of Night also protects you with a spell shield. However, it grants you 10 armor penetration as well, which is perfect for those assassins who want to jump into the action without fear of getting CC’ed.
Aside from protective items, some items can enhance the effectiveness of Support Champions.
The Hextech Megadrive, for example, reduces the cooldown of active items by 10% every time you heal or shield your allies and 15% when you immobilize the enemy.
The next support item Ixtali Seedjar is rather unique. Every time you or your allies hit a nearby plant, it will drop a seed that is only visible to you. You can pick this seed up and plant it anywhere you like. These seeds can provide different benefits, so always consider where you plant them on the battlefield.
All items will be closely monitored and adjusted if needed.
Quality of Life Changes
Are you tired of getting paired up with people who intentionally lose games? Well, the developers have made some improvements to the system that will take more action on those who decide to lose on purpose.
If you are new, you will be greeted with an expanded mission track themed around Jinx the first time you get into the game.
League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 2.6 is expected to arrive on December 2.
