In celebration of the leap day, Apple has made five top rated apps free for the day in a 2016 Leap Year Sale. 9to5Toys reports that the apps have a combined value of $15 regularly.
Spark Camera (Typically $3) lets you take full advantage of the iPad’s big screen when filming and recording movies. Simply hold anywhere on the screen to start and pause recording, even multiple clips. Filters and music can be added to a recording before it’s saved to the Camera Roll. Also available for iPhone.
Tayasui Sketches+ (Typically $5) allows users access to computer graphic tools such as felt pens, oil pastels, airbrush guns and pen brushes to create original content on the iPad or iPhone. Users can draw and combine on up to four layers per drawing and the app also supports pressure styluses. Currently, styluses from Wacom, Hex and Adonit Stylus are supported.
In Bridge Constructor (Typically $2), players figure out how to build bridges over rivers, canals and valleys in 40 different levels. Players can use concrete pillars, wood, steel and cables, and practice their skills in free build mode. The SlopeMania expansion was recently added to Bridge Constructor, bringing with it 24 more new levels. Available on both iPhone and iPad.
Named one of the best apps in the iOS App Store for 2015, in Super Sharp (Typically $2) players use their fingers to cut and swipe their way through a 120 physics-based levels. Even more impressively, Super Sharp has a perfect five star app rating, despite cumulatively having over 3,000 ratings. Available on both iPhone and iPad.
Windy (Typically $3) only wants to do one thing: help you relax so you can get some rest and meditate. Chosen by Apple as one of their Best of 2014 apps, Windy plays natural white noise sounds in combination with wind and nature sounds to help slow a racing mind. Windy also boasts “Stereoscopic 3D audio,” designed to work with Apple headphones and earpods.
These five apps are only available for download today, so make sure to grab them before the free offer ends.
