In celebration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision and SCUF Gaming have partnered up to deliver the Limited Edition SCUF Vantage 2 Modern Warfare controller for the PlayStation 4. The SCUF Vantage 2 controller is a good fit for Modern Warfare players since it is one of the most customizable and versatile controllers on the market.
The SCUF Vantage 2 is a wireless controller that offers a whole suite of configurable components. Features include, among others:
- four back paddles
- two side-mounted Sax buttons
- a customization app to quickly adjust settings
- an ergonomic grip
- adjustable triggers
- removable vibration modules
All of these features, and more, all come together to give players the ability to further personalize the way they play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It also gives players the opportunity to level up their game with advanced controller technology.
The limited edition version has all of the hardware under the hood along with an exclusive faceplate design based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There is a tactical blue topography map that is placed across most of the controller's profile along with solid black grips highlighting the controller’s sides and the MW logo etched right into the audio touch bar.
Since it is a SCUF Vantage, players can expect the same amount of additional customization as with any other Vantage. Do you want to replace the D-Pad with a circular pad in order to have a shorter distance between moving a thumbstick and pressing a directional button? How about switching out the thumbsticks for something taller or shorter? Both of these, and even more, are possible because of the interchangeable parts that come with the controller. Additional accessory kits are available, but are sold separately.
The Limited Edition SCUF Vantage 2 controller for PS4 is already available today in North America online and at GameStop locations for $219.95.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25. This is the 16th installment in the Call of Duty series and serves a “soft reboot” of the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game takes place in a modern and realistic setting. In addition, this is going to be the first game in the franchise to support cross-platform multiplayer. In addition, it has been confirmed that the usual season pass has been scrapped, allowing Activision to distribute free post-launch content to all players.
